These terms apply to everyone who uses this website. The website is run by RusBridge (the organisation named at the top of this page). By using it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What this website is
RusBridge gives information and guidance to people who want to study, visit or live in Russia, or learn Russian. The website is free to use, and you do not need an account to read our guides.
Through our forms, you can tell us about your plans and get a reply by email, register for a Russian course or subscribe to our newsletter. If you register for a course, we confirm your place and the details with you by email.
General information, not professional advice
Our guides give general information. They are not legal, immigration, medical or financial advice, and they cannot replace advice about your personal situation.
Rules in Russia change often, especially for visas, registration and documents. Before you act, always check the official sources: the Russian embassy or consulate, your university and official government websites. For a question about your own case, ask the official body concerned or a qualified professional.
We do our best to keep our information accurate, but we cannot promise that it is always complete or up to date.
What we do not do
RusBridge does not guarantee admission to a university, a scholarship, a visa or any other result. These decisions are made by universities, government bodies and embassies, not by us.
RusBridge is not a government body, and it is not an agent or representative of any university. We do not apply to universities on your behalf, we do not issue invitations or visas, and we do not sell places.
Using our forms and the speaking club
When you use our forms:
- give true information about yourself
- send only your own details, or details you have permission to share
- do not send spam, advertising or harmful content
In the speaking club, treat other participants, native speakers and volunteers with respect. Insults, harassment and discrimination are not accepted.
We may decline a request, or ask someone to leave the speaking club, if these rules are not respected.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle the personal data you send us.
